Alexander Sandeman – Developer

With over 20 years of experience specializing in Property Development and Interior Design, Alex has earned the reputation of being amongst the most well respected and sought-after Designers and Developers in Barbados. His passion and eye for design kick-started his career at an early age and continues to drive his designs to new heights. Alex is renowned for his ever-evolving style, defined by a subtle fusion where the influences of the West overlap with traditional Caribbean inspiration, renowned for clean lines and neutral tones intuitively balanced with opulent warmth.

James S.Y. Edghill – Developer

James holds a master’s degree in civil engineering and from the University of Bristol as well as from the Harvard School of Design in Real Estate Development.

Based in Barbados, James has founded several companies in the construction and real estate fields and has undertaken projects throughout the Caribbean. His experience spans both the residential and commercial sectors and he believes the future in real estate will be driven by green technologies to improve energy efficiency and the customer experience.







Dustin Delany/Dentons

Dustin Delany is the managing partner of Dentons for the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and based in Barbados. He is a U.S. trained attorney where he practiced for a decade before relocating to the Caribbean 14 years ago. He is called to the Bar in 13 CARICOM countries as well as Florida and multiple Federal courts in the U.S. From a legal perspective, Dustin has been involved in all aspects of the planning, development and operation of some of the region’s more significant residential and commercial developments. He and his firm are heavily involved in Barbados’ robust property and real estate market, advising a broad range of clients.

Sean Armstrong – Lead Designer

Sean lived in London for over 8 years whilst working for BUJ Architects LLP on a number of large scale projects including the likes of Galliard Homes.  When the time came to move back to Barbados, Sean decided it was the ideal opportunity to share and expand his design experience. He has worked on behalf of numerous and varied clients with a primary focus on adding quality to the local market with a unique feel and design aesthetic that is sympathetic to the traditional design whilst embracing a clean, modern look.

Sean has made a priority of ensuring that all aspects of the development are well considered and that home owners within Porters Place will have a truly unique setting for living and at a standard that he hopes will be a benchmark for all future developments.  The emphasis on landscaping, green spaces and the communal farm will add a great sense of well being to those that are lucky enough to own a home here in Porters Place.

Sean Stewart – Sales

Having resided in and being a citizen of the U.K., Canada & Barbados, Sean has extensive international property sales experience and most recently led the sales and planning for a large residential development in Barbados. He has previously co-founded a property sales company in South Africa, has experience in numerous second home destinations, and has spent considerable time immersed in the process of selling luxury property.

Prior to moving back to Barbados in 2019, Sean travelled the world for a year, after having been part of the sales teams for two prominent U.K. real estate companies selling property in Prime Central London.

With an engaging personality and a very easy charisma, Sean is well versed in the lifestyle and community being sold at Porters Place.  He has managed and recruited sales personnel for this industry and understands intimately the combination of passion and personality required for the very different process of selling international second homes.
